The NYonstage.com listings form is designed to get your show up in minutes.
You'll find explanations and instructions for the form here. Our goal is to make
things easy and fun, so if you have suggestions for improvements, please let us know.
The form is organized in three parts, as are these help sections:
Information about the Show - what, who, where, and details
Please omit indefinite
articles, such as "The", "A", "An", etc. at the beginning of the
title.
If you're show is done often, as are plays by Shakespeare and
other popular playwrights, you'll want to set you're production apart by distinguishing
it's title in the database. To do this, simply add " - " and a subtitle or the
company's name or abbreviation.
Show's Title
NOTE:Use ALL CAPS FOR THE MAIN
TITLE; precede subtitle,
if any, with a hyphen. If the database already lists a show with
your title, you must modify your title to make it
unique. For example, use a producer or director credit
as a subtitle (e.g.: HAMLET - dir. by William Slye).
If your
show is often done, or you think the title may have been
used before check similar titles
to see if your title has already been used.

This part of the listings process is a simple, three-entry form.
Enter your ShowID.
Chances are you don't know your ShowID. click the link to the IDsearch
page, enter a bit of your title and your password, and click "Search
!" Note that ID and click the "Add dates" link, which
will take you back to the dates and times page.
Next, enter the Date
of the performance in the format: MM-DD-YY. For example, May 3, 2000
should be entered as 05-03-00.
Next, enter Time
the performance begins.
Click "Add this
performance to the list". The date and time you just entered will
appear in the box on the right and the boxes on the left get ready for the
next date. The cursor will return to the date box and the ShowID and
Time will stay the same unless you change them, as we assume you don't want
to change your ShowID, and may have many show dates at the same showtime.
Repeat for all
performances. You can remove incorrect dates/times by selecting a date
and time from the list at the right and clicking "Remove selected
performance"
When you've added all your
showtimes to the list on the right, click "Submit all
performances" You will see a confirmation page noting the
dates and times you've entered for your ShowID. You may want to print
this page for your records.
